February is I Love To Read Month + Black History Month!
Willow Press + Tusome Books are teaming up to bring you an all-ages contest that will get you building reading habits, reading from different voices, and sharing your love of reading with others. Plus, you can win a special prize: a gift card to Willow and a gift card to Tusome Books!
Here’s how to play!
1) download the bingo sheet.
It’s free to play, but we’d encourage you to leave a donation for Justice For Black Lives Winnipeg below. We’ll collect all month and send them the total amount at the end.
Justice 4 Black Lives Winnipeg facilitates donations for Black folks in the Winnipeg community.
This includes:
– The families of the folks victim to police brutality
– Supporting Black & Indigenous folks who are seeking financial sipper for medical needs (surgery, medications, etc)
– Food and basic necessities for Black folks
– Supporting community projects and initiatives

2) play on your own or with a team
A team means you have more entries (more chance you’ll win!). Just keep in mind, you will have to split the prize amongst your team.
Cross off a square once you’ve completed the task. You don’t have to finish a whole book! Just logging some time with one counts. Reading a book to a kid counts. The point is to get you reading more than you usually do. That’s all! It will look different for everyone.
3) at the end of the month, send a picture of your completed sheet(s)!
